More technically, you are taking voice (ie. analog information) and encoding it digitally, converting it into packets, and then using the internet to move those packets along the most efficient path to their destination, where they get reassembled and delivered in the format they started in: voice.

There are many situations where using VoIP has advantages. The following are some suggested uses and ideas for our VoIP service:

• You are located overseas (eg. USA, Australia) and make regular calls or faxes to Hong Kong;
• You are located in Hong Kong, and make regular international calls and faxes (eg. to your branch office in the USA);
• You want to setup a virtual presense in Hong Kong with a local telephone number, and receive the telephone calls at your own home/office wherever it is;
• Lines are flat-rate monthly for unlimited minutes and unlimited calls, so besides the monthly fee there are no further call charges;
• As Hong Kong is the telecommunications center of Asia, telephone calls to/from most of Asia (eg. China, Philipines) are cheaper than calls to longer distance places such as USA, Australia, Britain, etc., so you can offer your customers and clients a cheap way to call you or to call them

If you are not calling to/from Hong Kong, you can still take advantage of VoIP. Providers such as TalkAmerica and iConnectHere make use of VoIP to lower charges. If you don't want to change provider you can also select a VoIP phonecard from ZapTel.com (calling card comparison site).

Depending on your requirements, you can either send the VoIP hardware to us for Colocation, or we can purchase it locally on your behalf. Most VoIP hardware is 1U in size, although it greatly depends on what brand/model is selected.

We require no private information beyond what is required to receive payment, and we are securely offshore so your privacy is ensured.

Telephone lines are paid quaterly, and include unlimited use (can be used for voice, fax, modem/data). There is up to a 14 day lead time for line provisioning, depending on number of lines required.

Equipment must be pre-configured prior to shipping to us (we provide the required network settings in advance). Additional IPs may be allocated based on actual usage.
