Server Management
We provide basic Server Management services with all Dedicated Server packages. This allows you to outsource most if not all of your basic system administration work. We will constantly monitor your server, making sure all software and hardware is performing correctly, apply the latest security patches/fixes to your software, and fix/replace any hardware that begins to malfunction. You can also contact us with a request (eg. new user account) and it will usually be done within one business day. We try and help you in any way that we can concerning your server.
30 minutes free Server Management Time per server per month is included with all Dedicated Server packages (additional free time is given when possible).
Each server management "action", including but not limited to: updating/upgrading software, fixing security vulnerabilities, adding/modifying/deleting accounts, settings, maintenance - uses a mininimum of 10 minutes. Additional management time can be purchased in half hour time slots. Re-installation of Redhat takes 30 minutes. Re-installation of Microsoft Windows takes 1.5 hours.
